OP: Interest Expressed
I was in London a couple weeks ago and so had a bit of time to meander around to pass some time.
I stumbled across a grey dealer who had some nice pieces. Many had factory stickers on them. This piece didn't, it just had a protective film over the face that was applied by the dealer. I'd never given the OP much thought before, but when I tried this one on, there was an instant connection. I love this colour dial too! I know my son is fond of this watch and so I decided that I'd try to get one to eventually pass on to him in a few years when he turns 21. When I came home, I put my name on the expressed interest list with my local AD and now have the painful wait to hear back from them - I'm hoping within a year?? I guess we'll see.... I'll update on this thread when the time comes (all being well). Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk |

Did you by chance make an offer on the model you tried on? There is some flexibility to be had at the moment with grey dealers.
Notwithstanding, best of luck getting this Oyster Pep! I can see why you love it! |

It would have been interesting to see what their bottom price would be

Got mine after 7 months as well. From what I saw recently on Chrono24, the green 126000 trades close to the MSRP. So availability should be easening while the price tumbles…

I ended up going grey and didn't regret it. Life is short and that call may never come for this watch. I see discontinuation in it's near distant future... Out of interest, was it Burlington Arcade in London? If it was, I'd have no qualms about buying from there. |

The arcade was in Hatton Garden - it wasn't floating my boat. I'm sure everything would have been fine, but you have to trust your gut don't you. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk |

As with all thing Rolex, the wait is relative to your spend and how accommodating your particular AD is! Good luck and keep us posted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would contact the dealer who had the watch you tried on and negotiate with them and try to get a better price. I get it, money is money but ownership for not much more than retail is priceless. I would not mess around and let this example get away especially since you will not resale it. Buy it now, wear it and enjoy it and if the AD calls you later then great. You and your son have identical watches or you can get it and sell one or just pass. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Great watch and my favorite dial color in the OP line.
Hopefully the call comes quick! |

I understand things are different in different countries so with this caveat…when I asked for a green OP41 in July ‘23 my SA(US dealer)said it was one of a handful of models he could “special order” and I had it in less than a month. I realize that is not the norm for this piece.
At least in the US, all OPs are fairly scarce, with multiple sizes and dial colors ADs just don’t get that many of any given combo. Anecdotally the 41s seem to be harder to get here but others will say the 36s have more demand because it appeals to both men and women. OP, I wish you good luck and hopefully your wait won’t be too long. It is a gorgeous color and is lots of fun to wear. |

Assuming you’ve got no history at that AD it’ll be years or never. OP41 green is very popular.
