No serial number match? Fake?

Apologies if I get something wrong, this is my first post.

I just bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261200772619

And the seller, who seems completely genuine and honest gave me the rest of the serial for my insurance company to add it to my policy.

Just for curiosity I put it in http://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-serial-numbers

and got a 'Not available'???

Does this mean there is something up? Like I say the seller seems totally legit and the serial number on the watch matches the perforated guarantee.

Am I just being a bit paranoid?

Potentially.

The Bobwatches lookup is no more than a simple Yxxx lookup table. It would show a Z999 serial no as a 2006 model.

In reality, no such serial number would exist, never mind the fact that a Z serial number could be 2007 as much as 2006.

Only Rolex has a database of any use.

BTW - The 14060 looks ok to me.

Anybody got any views on this website for serial number checking on stolen watches ?

http://www.watchsearcher.com/en/

When I put in my serial ref it just chucks up an error message in Francais !
