September redesign

Hello, new to the forum. I went to my AD to order a SS DJ with whitegold fluted bezel. I wanted the oyster bracelet w/10 diamond Rhodium dial. She contacted Rolex and they said they were not making that combination since they were making changes in September. I was also told there was going to be a big price hike. Anyone know anything about this price hike. I was told the clasp on the oyster bracelet is changing.

Is the price hike happening on the updated datejust ss model with the new clasp, or will it be across the board and include sports models??

According to her rep, it will be on all watches. The price of metals and diamonds have went up. She did say, but not confirmed, that there may not be a price increase in February as a result.

Welcome to TRF, fabulas. Glad to have another new member here. I haven't heard about any price increases, but I have been seeing pictures of what appear to be some redesigns, so the hike would not surprise me. After all, it's been at least 6 months since the last one.

I hope not, the one I was wanting was already costing me 6 grand, I'm not willing to pay $7500 for the same watch. Might have to just keep sporting my TAG.
