Oysterflex Leather Replacement?
I would like to change the Oysterflex strap on my WG Ceramic Daytona 116519LN for a leather strap but keep the folding clasp.
I am told Rolex don't have a direct leather replacement for an Oysterflex strap ie one that uses the folding clasp. So my question is simply is there a quality manufacturer who makes such a strap? I have no issues with the Oysterflex am just looking for a change for a few months. |

Combat Straps will make you one out of anything you can imagine. Check out their website and Instagram feed for inspiration. I believe the owner Aaron might own an Oysterflex Daytona as there have been frequent posts with one. https://www.combat-straps.com/

not sure what style you're looking for, but Rolex makes a satin black alligator. Your AD can order you one.

I'm no expert, but didn't the daytona just previous with the Arabic numeral option dial have ceramic Daytona with black leather and gold deployant? I'd imagine that one.

The 116515 that was in production for years has a different clasp. It's not compatible with the newest clasp. However the strap I posted above, is the newest version I think made for that watch as well as the other new PM daytonas on Oysterfex.

Thanks for the info. WG Daytona in my sight in the next 12m and black strap works better than OF IMO. You know part number for the leather strap?

Oysterflex Leather Replacement?
Yes, the newer 116515LN came with the easylink clasp and new leather straps which work with the SS Daytona clasp. You need to know your correct size D/E, E/F as they come in pairs and a serial # for a newer version of the watch (116515LN) for an AD to order.
Ref # = B80118 I believe Pictured below: (not sure why it turned but you get the idea)

Thats exactly what am looking for, thanks for the info. It was my AD that advised Rolex didn't make a compatible leather strap for the PM ceramic Daytona but that was several months ago. I will advise them of the part number and get one on order. Many Thanks... |

I see that you are based in Scotland, in the UK (for now!)
I have a nice custom handmade/handsewn strap made to my specs by Equus (based in county Durham), which I use on my Omega Planet Ocean. It's a really nice strap, and I can definitely recommend them. They have a website, and can make them within around 4-6 weeks usually. |
