My whole family is in the Philippines (except for my mum), I was born here though and only go back once a year (used to be twice but we seemed to slow down on the trips).

My mum was born in Mindanao and my family lives in Davo.

Opps, I should probably put my name in the profile thing.

I'm Dom.
Yeap I like it over there, very different to Australia. My grandma owns a large fuel trucking cooperation along with a few other things. My uncle was kidnapped and held for a $1m USD ransom 10 years ago. After she paid half, they never kept their part of the deal and he was never seen again. So now I can't travel anywhere without a body guard (who doubles as a driver) for my own safety, as I said.....very different to Aus lol.

I bought my PAM off timezone, from someone in USA. It was second hand, but it came looking brand new, was happy with that purchase.

This is my collection:

My guess is that most Panerai's have a black face, with only a handful with a white.

For Rolex, Jakarta have good value. they discount good. Around 20-23% for Professional models and 23-25% for dressy.
But for Pannie for example, I think here sell a bit up from standard price.

Hello fellow Filipinos. I find it very interesting that there seems to be a collective cultural attractions for Rolexes in the Far East, Philippines included. I know personally that it started with my Mother who brought a Rolex for my Brother and me after graduation. She ended up buying a gold ladies DJ for herself. I recently bought one for my wife (who is not Filipino) and certainly will end up giving my collection to my sons. So I would say that my family is heavily invested. Correct me if I'm wrong but are there any other cultures that do this?
