I own the 15400sr and it is an amazing watch that you don't see often + discontinued. As far as style goes, it's unisex.
My opinion, for what it's worth, is that 15450 is more of a ladies' watch. |

Most watches are unisex, 15450SR is definitely unisex, it's just two tone of 15450.
Rolex men's watches have a lot of diamonds bezel but when AP watches have diamonds bezel, most people think it's for ladies, to me I think it's unisex.

This has to be the most extensively covered subject, recently, in the Audemars section of the Forum. The established wisdom is that 50% of Forum participants think the 15450 is a ladies watch and 50% say "hell no" it's not gender specific. Hope that helps.
Additionally, there are dudes with 6.5" wrists who wear 47mm Panerais and others with 7" wrists who wear 36mm vintage Daytonas. Go figure. |

All depends on the wrists. The RO is a complicated beast. Flat or round wrist a side, the 15450 can be perfect for <6.5. The 15300/15202 works for most wrists (but to hard/impossible to get). 15400/15500 works best for >'7 but its big alright.

Thanks, VogelPhoenix, "unless one wants to argue wearing a watch that fits well somehow distracts from one's manliness" should be the last word on this subject, but I bet it won't.

Always wear what you like.
However, I think RG + white dial (regardless of size) is usually focused on a female clientele design language. Just look at the Patek announced Aquas for instance. Same color palette. Last however, is that there are so few of these in the wild, I don't think anyone would assume too much otherwise with a suit and match belt buckle. So again, wear what you like. |

I know times change and 1990 was 31 years ago but Nick Faldo was still 6' 3" then and if you've ever met him or been in his presence then you know he's far from small, yet a 33mm RO was fine for him.

I was offered one the first time I went to AP house. I wouldn't say its that feminine but I'm personally not a fan of the white dial with the rose gold bezel.
