36mm daydate

After recently getting a RG daytona on OF I'm now firmly in the PM camp! I had considered a daydate at the time but went for the daytona. Popped into my local AD today for something unrelated and just asked if they had anything I could try on, they only had one....

Lovely fit at 36mm, not a huge fan of roman numerals though and I have my heart set on green, so it will have to be this one when I finally get the chance...

I will need to move a couple on to cover the cost though, probably a BLNR and 41mm OP tiffany would go someway towards it.

36mm is classic for daydate. I love my 40mm Daytona OF and my 41mm Sub but for the daydate it had to be a 36mm so that’s what I bought.

Can confirm that the green DD36 dials are stunning. Can also confirm that being "firmly in the PM camp" is the move.

36mm DayDate is the way. I added one earlier this year as well and couldn’t be happier with the decision.

The proportions of the 36mm have stood the test of time - they are perfect.

Plus the comfort of the 36mm works better on my 7 3/8” (not small) wrist than my prior 40mm DayDates.

That YG green dial with baguettes is a stunner! Hope you land it soon.

It sounds like you’re making the transition to precious metals with great taste! The 36mm Day-Date with a green dial would be a stunning addition, especially in PM—it’s a classic that brings a lot of sophistication with that dial color. The green is timeless and a perfect complement to your growing collection.

It’s also smart that you’re considering moving the BLNR and 41mm OP Tiffany to help fund it. Both are great pieces, but a green dial Day-Date in PM will definitely elevate your collection to the next level. It’ll be well worth the wait and effort to secure one!

Great choice with the Day-Date! It’s a perfect balance to the Daytona, especially after adding the RG Daytona to your collection. It’s classic, elegant and complements the Daytona.

I like the one you saw. I think 36mm is the way but be sure what combo you want.
