How good is Omega NATO?
I've heard from YouTubers that Omega NATO even though expensive is way way way better than any other NATO out there. For those who have bought NATO from Omega and other brands, how good are the Omega ones, really?
Anyone has experience with the leather NATOs? Thank you Ps. The reason is I'm thinking of using an Omega NATO on my patek so doing some research. |

I have a few. They are very well made, both fabric and metal parts. Whether they are $200 good is totally up to you.

How are they compared to say Amazon ones? The problem is I don't have one so I can't compare and figure out why they are around 10x more expensive. Even if they are 3x more comfortable I'll pay for them.

The fabric is thick and sturdy. The metal parts are finished to the level of Omega watches. They are much better than cheap NATOs but again I have no way to measure if they are 10x better. The Omega natos are not comfortable. They are very hard and require a long time to break in. The metal parts are big and may be rubbing against your skin. I bought them for their good looks and durability, not for suppleness and comfortable wear.

It's a fabric strap. How much better can it be than a B&J or Bulang & Sons strap. Can guarantee you it's made in China anyway.

My Omega NATOs have "Swiss made" mark on the metals. Not sure about the fabric.

I think the Omega NATO stand out above others in terms of quality and durability (first-hand experience). That said, the price is steep.
Too steep for me and I found Artem straps. They’re like 60 USD and noticeably better quality than your average Amazon delivery. Pretty happy with mine… |

Yes, they are better. To figure in cost is a personal assessment. I have both.

My pet peeve is that the well made metal buckle and keeper cannot be reused when the nylon fabric is worn down. It's very wasteful to throw these nice metal parts away. I guess it must be more costly to produce those metal parts than making the fabric, which is partially why they are expensive.
It will be cute and environmentally friendly for Omega to open a little sewing shop in their boutique to help us sew the metal parts onto new fabric. Sent from my Pixel 9 Pro XL using Tapatalk |

I have only one Omega Nato but I find it better than any other nato tried, subtle differences but for me enough to justify the price paid.

I’ve tried loads of natos but the only ones I’ve kept are the omega ones. They are very expensive, but last well and very comfortable when I want to use one (not that often)

Omega NATO straps are highly regarded for their durability and comfort. Made from quality nylon, they offer a secure fit and come in various colors for customization. They’re a stylish and functional choice for any watch.

Anyway, I've got an Omega NATO. It is well made and comfortable but the sliding keeper is a pain as it never stays in the "correct" position. For a more vintage look I like the A.F. 0210 straps which were the precursor to the G10 (NATO)
