SMP 2541.80 Bezel Issue

Today I was turning my bezel to time something, pretty much all the way around to the 5 minute marker, when the bezel stopped clicking and started sliding around. I was then able to turn it in both directions. Just as quick as this started, it went back to normal.

Has anyone here experienced this? I'm planning to take it in to my local AD soon but am going on vacation next week and am wondering in the meantime if the water resistance may be compromised. Probably won't wear it in the water just in case.

I’d submit it for warranty or repair prior to embarking on vacation as a backup like a G-Shock will suffice in the interim.

PS: Yes, I’ve had a Seamater with a bezel frozen at 11

I would take it in as soon as feasible, before vacation if possible. The sooner it gets sent off the sooner it gets back.

I dropped it off at the local Omega Boutique today and they are going to check it out and fix it for free since I had the full service a year and a half ago. Recommending new springs.
