FP Journe Elegante 48 availability and market price

Hey members,

I am looking to get FP journe and found out that the Elegante 48 is basically the entry level timepiece in Journe , how hard it is to get one at retail ? the price on chrono is insane and only 3 or 4 watched available for sale ? is it that limited ?

Virtually any watch’s difficulty fo source is directly correlated to its $ premium relative to msrp. As such you aren’t getting one as a first purchase.

I’d personally say the CS or ARS2 is a better entry point.

Impossible
Journe boutiques officially closed the waitlist
It was 4 years and seems journe HQ told all the boutiques to stop adding people on the list
So you pay the 100% premium or you won’t get one.

Besides, I know grey dealers begging for those so you can expect the grey market price will even go up

I wouldn’t really classify the Elegante as a the “entry level Journe”.... I would classify it more as an oddity in the catalog as it is a quartz watch (albeit a unique one).

To me, entry level is the CS. And a fantastic entry it is.

There's no such thing as "entry level" anymore with a brand that can only make 700 watches/year but is experiencing the level of social media hype of a Nautilus.

This is why there's closed wait lists at boutiques, and why ADs aren't getting allocations for these "hot" pieces.
