As I'm sure you've all guessed by the fact that I'm posting in this particular thread, I am indeed a newbie.
Couldn't tell you where my obsession with watches came from...probably the same place where my interest in anything mechanical comes from. My watch collection is small, simple, and relatively inexpensive, but it's mine. There's a Pulsar that was my first real watch, a Seiko Chronograph of some kind my grandfather gave me. A Skagen an ex-girlfriend got me. I have a Seiko Coutura Perpetual Calendar I bought for myself a couple years ago which I realy enjoy, and I get a lot of comments about it. Lastly, I have a Tag Heuer F1 Indy 500 Edition I got for my high school graduation. That about wraps it up. |

Couldn't say. Just don't really find them all that appealing. Maybe because I'm under the impression they're overpriced BECAUSE they're Rolex. Dunno though. Just....*shrug* I joined the forum for a lot of reasons, but a desire for Rolex wasn't one.
And no, you weren't out of line. |
