Talking clock.
Proudly showing off his new apt. to a couple of his drunk friends late one night, the drunk host led the way to his bedroom where there was a huge brass gong.
"What's the brass gong for?" slurred one of his buddies. "It's not a gong, it's a talking clock!" the host replied. "A talking clock, seriously?" asked the other drunk friend. "Yup" replied the host. "How's it work?" the 2nd guest asked, squinting at the gong. "Watch" said the host. He picked up a big hammer, gave the gong an ear shattering pound & stepped back. The 3 stood looking at one another for a moment. Suddenly, someone on the other side of the wall screamed..."you F&^%ing idiot----it's ten past three in the morning!"
