My first Rolex, a 6694

Hi,

First post, the forum has been useful to me to research 6694’s before getting one.

It’s my first Rolex and I’ve wanted one for a while now.
I believe it to be 1972 model by the serial number in the Bob’s site tool.
Yes polished. And recently serviced and water tested (how do those results look, pressure seems low but it is a vintage watch I guess so maybe that was what they test vintage ones too at that particular place?)

I’m looking to keep the watch, not to sell and upgrade. Although I do want another already
This one was at a good price and I plan to daily the watch and really enjoy it.

I plan to get a link taken out as I’m at the tightest of the micro settings which offsets the clasp more then I want.

I’d love to keep the watch on nearly all the time in terms of showering and swimming but I’m a little nervous for that first dunk! I’ve read so many that say don’t do it, but just as many that say it’s passed the test it’s fine….. I may get it tested my self just to triple check!

Anyways. Enough rambling. Here’s some low ish light pictures. I’m waiting for some sun but not had any yet!!

My bracelet has a code of VE meaning 1980 bracelet, really enjoying this watch, currently curious how long I’ll get to a full wind
