116509 Green Dial Daytona

I bought this watch purely because it was a good price and local to me. Been wearing it a few days and honestly not sure I'll sell it's an incredible watch to wear maybe I think that because it's my first all gold rolex? Maybe it's the prestige? I mean have you seen John mayor talk about it LOL

Either way you'd have to see it in person to appreciate it - all time grail level contender for sure

What's your thoughts?

Those damn Rolex model numbers can be confusing when you are trying to decide whether or not to flip a watch...

Idk what to tell you about your watch. Maybe you can go into more detail about your watch. What do you like about your watch aside from the reasons you bought your watch being at a good price and local? It looks like a pretty nice watch.

Didn't do it for me when I had it... felt more like a Christmas trinket with the colour scheme!
But wear it in good health :)

Congrats on your 116508 green dial. I also have one and it’s a gorgeous piece. Enjoy and wear it in good health and ignore the hype on value

I choose the Platona. Why, much greater subtilty. Go green if you want to be obvious and stand out (John Mayer style).

Lovely watch....not my personal favorite Daytona but it's a hot number right now and you can keep it and enjoy or sell it and depending on how much you paid for it perhaps make some profit. Other than that what's there to think?

Beautiful watch for sure! Congratulations!
I personally think it’s ridiculously overpriced at current market price, and I don’t give a %+@$& what JM thinks about it, or watches in general. I respect him, but don’t put any value in his watch thoughts.

LOL, I keed.

Me, my thoughts? I can't tell the time on Daytonas. I've had two of them, one SS and one WG and neither one was readable, and they left shortly thereafter.

Natch I wish I had kept the SS one just to double my money on it, but hey, life goes on and retirement is probably overrated anyway.

Best green-colored dial of any Rolex, ever. And I have a 116718 green dial.

The green color looks nice when paired with the yellow gold. I like it.

I am curious as to what defines a good price on this one?

Not a Daytona fan, but that is the best looking watch Rolex makes, in my opinion. I'd love to have one.

Would love to own one, but don’t think I’m a full gold guy. If i could be, this is a top contender. I would put this in a near impossible class to get now. It’s awesome, enjoy!
