Our Take
The 16234 straddles between the perfect blend of vintage and modern. The ref. 16234 was among the first five-digit offerings within the Datejust family, and importantly one of the first to also use a sapphire crystal. It also featured the jumping date and the newly updated Cal. 3135 movement. This example stands out with the anniversary jubilee arabic dial with matching non-lume white gold hands.

This reference 16234 is in excellent pre-owned condition, showing minimal signs of wear. The recently polished case remains in superb condition with sharp edges. The bracelet is in good shape, exhibiting very little stretch from age. The crystal has been recently replaced with new gaskets, ensuring the watch has passed pressure tests. The watch includes the original box & papers.
