Year of watch
Hi
Once a watch is past its warranty period, does the year matter anymore? I notice that watches out their warranty are slightly cheaper - but once the warranty period is past, does it matter the year?

Yes, modern Rolex service intervals are approximately every 10 years. A watch closer to that due time is more likely to be cheaper to account for the cost of servicing. Sometimes the difference in prices could be due to having an older version of movement.

If a watch has a service history, then I guess the price will be reflective towards that of newer dated versions ?

The year does matter if changes were made to the particular reference during the production run, e.g. changes in the bracelet or movement.
