Daytona 116523
I've been looking to get a blue faced Daytona, and I know the options are extremely limited. Other than the Ice Blue Platona, what are members thoughts on the two tone Daytona with the Blue Arabic racing dial?
I think it's pretty cool, but it seems that this model isn't very sought after? Am I correct about this. I'm assuming it's the two tone. |

TT usually draws mixed reactions for the most part. I think the dial is very cool though. I’d say get what you like and to hell what’s “hyped” or popular. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That blue dial is stunning. Not a total fan of how two tone looks on a Daytona tho.

I like that dial and the panda racing dial but I I’m not so fond of how the 523 bezel looks compared to 503.
I recently got a 2016 116503 with that dial and it’s beautiful! Not an everyday watch for me but more for summer fun. |

x2. That would be my first pick if I was looking for a blue dialed Daytona.
OP, as far as the one you're looking at, it's a fantastic reference. However, the TT haters are going to poo poo it, so if you listen to them, you don't have a chance. I'll just say this. If you like it, that's all that counts. |

I own a 116523 and it is one of my favorite watches. I own the Panda racing dial version. I chose that one because of all the Daytona’s, it was the easiest to read the time. If you like the two-tone models, then I think they’re a really good value. Especially considering the old 116520’s with the old non-easy link clasps go for about 2-3k more on average.
Right now the market is softer on two-tone with everything going on. So it’s a decent time to buy. I also bought one recently so I’ve seen how prices have been. The reality is you’re getting the same exact watch as the impossible to find coveted steel only version, but it’s half 18k gold and 10-12k less on average than a 116500. To me that screams value. I’m wearing mine today actually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great points all the way around. Totally agree. I’m really considering getting a TT white dial. I wish the old slate grey dial versions were being offered up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
