Bracelet Squeak Help

Hey everyone, I have a Submariner 124060 that I’ve had over a year now (purchased September 2023). This watch has been my grail watch since I saw Sean Connery wear one in Goldfinger when I was a kid. It’s my daily wearer and the only watch in my collection. However, my bracelet has a loud squeak if I move my arm a certain way or shake my wrist. I’ve read multiple places that the squeak only lasts while the watch is new and will eventually fade away. I’ve also washed it several times with soap and it helps but only for a day or so.

Is this something that I should let an AD look at or is it just the nature of the oyster bracelet? I figured it would have stopped squeaking after a year of constant wear but maybe I’m wrong. This is my first Rolex but I do not remember the Tudor’s I had before this having bracelets that squeaked as much. Thanks for any insight or advice!

The squeaks normally dissipate fairly quickly... perhaps try removing the bracelet and pop it in an ultrasonic cleaner for a few minutes? Or take the watch to the AD and let them do it?

Maybe i'm wrong, but that squeak you hear must be the clasps's blades touching the bracelet when the watch moves around your wrist, especially if you wear the watch loose. It's a normal metal on metal sound, i personally love it.

It’s happened on a few of mine. Not a big deal as I understand it but if it bugs you it bugs you, maybe see what the AD says.

embrace the squeak, it's a good thing! means your watch still has some "minty-ness" to it! one day that squeak will be gone you and you'll miss it!

It seems like most of the squeak is coming from the two end links but I could be wrong! Thanks so far for the advice!

I think the 'it's still new' squeak' would have stopped by now on a year old daily worn watch

I had a new 126610LN last month that was really noticeable for a few weeks but then stopped

Oddly way more noticeable than any other new oyster bracelet I've had over the past few years

Hmm, this is just a wild guess, but could the spring bars not be seated properly in the lug holes causing the end links to rub against the case, making the squeaking noise?

I'd remove the bracelet and put in my ultrasonic set at 35c for 25 minutes.
