5070 yes or no

I really like the 5070 in platinum and rose, I was thinking of trading a full rose skydweller and 18k yacht 2 is it worth it ?

I would make that trade without hesitation. 5070 is in a league of its own IMO

Also is the right thing to give up the two for the one, that leave me with just 2 pieces

Yes. I would do the swap a heartbeat. I am currently trimming down my collection improving the quality dramatically. I traded a IWC perpetual calendar and a VC towards 5170G.

Having two pieces one of them a 5070P is no problem at all. That watch is iconic and should be worn.

I think in the price range of the 5070, under $100,000 you're getting the best bang for your buck. 5070 is the best watch tech has to offer in that price range. If you add another $30 or $40,000 you can move up to the 5970 or 5270 then you would have more decisions to make

Definitely yes. If you can live without a date function, it will work. It is one of the best Patek dials ever produced. It should hold its value and will be a great piece used to trade up for another Patek.

If you can get this one, then you should be done for some time. While I owned my 5070R (one year) until this one came in, it was a great journey. Having this 5270 has not made me sorry I traded my 5070.

Yes. I would trade in the 2 Rolex's plus cash for the P in a heartbeat if you can find one at a reasonable price.

5070R is stunning and a modern classic. Just make sure you try it on. It wears large.

The 5170 with the black dial is absolutely stunning, it is more in the style of vintage Patek chronos, and has a technically superior movement to the 5070. A very underrated watch in my opinion and I can see why some prefer it to the 5070.

The 5070 is awesome though and the P is a grail watch for me. I can't help feeling it's a little overrated though (sorry Bruno!) and if I'm being picky, I find the bezel too wide and the pushers too small.
