does anyone have any "cheap" watches too

Well just wondering if anyone has anything cheap in comparison, and if they wear them at all?
I have a few citizens and I have a few tissots, but not sure that I can wear them anymore, I mean a multi thousand dollar watch one day and a multi hundred the next?

I think that I would like to sell all the lessor ones, but I wont get much for them, is it worht it?
I mean I even have acitizen aqualand from the 80's but could probalby only get less then 100$ for it, is it worht it to sell it?

what are your thoughts on some less expensive pieces?

I have a drawer full of "cheaper" watches.

Thought like you that I would get rid of them and started to advertise.

After selling a Omega for $150 and couldn't get $100 for the second one I gave up and closed the drawer.

I have a quartz Tag 2000. I don't wear it unless I'm doing something where some kind of impact is likely, like moving apartments, running, playing golf, etc.

I like my Timex Ironman and wear it sometimes for more active types of water sports . . . I know the Sea-Dweller is made for the water but I'd just as soon not have it collide with a surfboard, reef, etc.

Yes I have some cheap watches if you count watches under say $500 as cheap. Some Germans some Russians, some older Accutrons. So yes cheap watches ...cheap wine, sometimes, cheap beer never, and NO Cheap women.

I still use my "cheap" watches. Especially in my travels I would not be comfortable walking in Mumbai, or many US Big City down town areas with my rolex. So those occassions I use my citize or casio. I also think I am pack rat with regard to watches. May one day I will be abvle to let go of some of those.

Oh, yes. I have a Timex Ironman, various Casio G-Shocks which I've used for work, then a couple that aren't exactly cheap, but not Rolex pricey, a Citizen Minute Repeater, which is very cool, and a Seiko DJ copy that is a very nice watch and deadly accurate. Both the Seiko and Citizen were about $400 each.

My other three are my two Rollies and an SMP. I actually really like Casio digital watches. Very rugged and accurate, and affordable too.

I love watches, they all fascinate me, I own about 50 or so, wear about 10 or so on a regular basis, even manufactured several of my own.
Rolex is my favorite, but i am a true workaholic

I've got a pretty large Swatch collection, with 4 automatics, limited editions, and artist series Swatches. Their in a box in the closet. And a plastic F-1 Tag from the 90's, remember those?

I have / had a number... mostly Japanese watches ranging from Citizen Campanola's to Grand Seikos, to G-shocks, and I currently own a Citizen Signature watch along with my Rolexes.

My habits vary and I find myself wearing less expensive watches more these days because they attract less attention than my Rolexes. I really dislike when people ask me about my watch. I've been wearing the attached Citizen for the last two weeks and love it (hand-assembled, Ti, flyback chrono).

My take is if you're really not wearing a watch, you should sell it. Someone out there will get more pleasure from it than you - so you make up your financial loss with some nice social value. :-)

I've sold some watches that were not expensive to me, but grails to others and it's really a great feeling finding a good home for a watch...

Just my $0.02.

I have found myself wearing my other watches less now that I enjoy Rolex watches. I wore by Breitling Super Ocean Steelfish cal 17 auto today and it felt great. But, then I came home and put on my GMT IIc. I have a variety of brands and price points but nothing as expensive as Rolex. I found that the Rolex watches rounded out my collection and helped to ease some of the constant buying and wanting. I guess that means I am now satisfied. When I do wear another watch, I enjoy it. Then, I come home and put my Rolex on!(LOL) I am not selling any watches. (not yet anyway)

How could I get rid of my Renato? (one of 60 made in this color)

Yup, I've got 7 Seikos, a Hamilton, an Omega, a Timex digital (my gym watch) and a cheap quartz Wenger that I don't wear. The Seiko Orange Monster and Hamilton Khaki auto are my "go to" watches most of the time.
