Do you really need...

... a tripod and a light tent?
About a year and half ago I had no light tent or tripod. I was taking all the pics on the kitchen counter or in the laundry room.

I was bored tonight, and I took a couple of hand held pics. No box. No tripod. Just a kitchen counter and a white sheet of photo paper as a backdrop.
Nikon D50, Sigma 50mm Macro lens, F 2.8, ISO 400, 1/80 second, WB set to Auto.

Can't you do any better than that. Chip, those are just terrible. post some more so we can really evaluate them

I guess I could do better... but I would have to use a tripod and a light box.
