1675/3 correct bracelet and end links

What was the correct jubilee bracelet w the correct end links on a root beer 16753
Mine is a 1974 and the bracelet/end links are not correct by date code stamped on the bracelet (1979)

Hate to even ask as I’m sure it’s somewhere in another post but I’m having trouble searching around and finding it

The GMT 16753 would be from the 1980s. If you are referring to a 1970s two-tone GMT, it is a model 1675 and sometimes referred to by collectors as a 1675 (3).

There are two Jubilee variations for the vintage GMT 1675 two-tone, the USA made, oval link Jubilee which did not normally have end link numbers - but, I have seen them with the number 50 stamped on the left ear, and the Swiss Jubilee folded link model 6252 with 250 end links stamped on the right ear.

Be aware that a correct, Swiss Jubilee 6252/250 for a vintage GMT is on the endangered species list and isn't easy to source within the vintage market.

Beginning late 1979, the GMT quick-set 16753 was introduced and could be ordered with the flat link Jubilee, model 62523, which was either 14k or 18k. The bracelet was stamped with a "50" on the far right side of each of last link on each side and had 450 stamped end links which were also stamped on the right side. The bracelet contained 22 links.

awesome!!
the bracelet on mine is a 62523 h14 (14k)
D2 is the date at 1979
the serial number on the watch head is from 1974
the bracelet itself is pretty shot... not only a lot of stretch but the center links are stretched really uneven like it was tugged
A new bracelet w end links from the AD is $4000 rn
also my end links are stamped 555

Sounds like a previous owner placed a Datejust style jubilee on the watch. A GMT Jubilee would have the 50 stamped on the last links on each side of the bracelet and the end links are not correct either.

$4k is a lot to lay out for a new bracelet that is mostly stainless, you might look into having your own bracelet rebuilt, which would certainly cost less than $1k.

In general, Rolliworks has done a good job on my bracelets, but I wasn't happy with the last one that they did, and they didn't seem eager to fix the problem when I reported it to them. So it's a mixed bag. You could also send it to Michael Young in HK.

I have used Rolliworks too and was satisfied with the service but if I had another bracelet to do, I too would try Michael Young at this point. https://www.classicwatchrepair.com/
