These guys are top shelf in terms of quality. You may not like all the designs, but that sold out 6263 design... I wish Rolex would produce something like that.

My guess, based on the evidence, would be they are being bought mainly by tattooed white boys with dreadlocks. Not that there is is anything wrong with that!

I don't think that they look all that bad, but they are ridiculously priced, especially since there's nothing wrong with the original Rolex designs.

Of course, if price is no object and you're too special to wear "ordinary" Rolex watches, then I guess these are just the ticket.

The Milgauss "tribute" looks like they made a fake 1019. It is sold out.

why buying twice the price something impossible to sell after ??????

I have to say - I love the 5513 but the price is insane.

Looks like high quality work, but I find 'tribute' designs unappealing (whoever makes them). The silly price (essentially $18,000 for a devalued Sub, in the case of the '5513') drives the final nail into the proverbial for me.

I think several of them look really good. But just cannot see paying that premium for a watch that will hold less value the original.

As said, if you are someone who has it all and needs something special to fit your style and you don't care about resale, why not.

No one pays for music anymore and a fella's gotta make a living. Maybe I'll get into the business, I've got a couple of ideas for tributes:

Pink Floyd tribute - I'ma call it "Time"

Jimi Hendrix tribute - "All Along the Watchtower". This one's a Tudor Pelagos with LHD.

I've seen some pretty awful modifications done to watches, many of these are actually quite handsome. Prices are another story but I'd happily own many of these.

Like the 6263. The sub is nice but I prefer Tempest Machina work on the Sub over this one.
Resale is problematic on modded pieces and I flip too much to consider something like this.

I agree... The Daytona 6263 tribute is my favorite. I wouldn't call any of the designs a disaster. The prices? That is the disaster, in my opinion.
