do I want an 1803
With all this talk of the new Daydate, I can't help finding the old President more and more attractive.
I have a 1665 which I will not let go of, but I'm just waiting on my BigBlock to come back from RSC and then I might consider letting it go. I think I'm missing a dress watch. If you own a DD (particularly on a strap) let me know how you find it. Thanks |

I love mine, this was my dads which makes it even more special, just had it serviced last month. Great dress watch that has the classic look that never goes out of style!

It's a beautiful dress watch, especially in white gold. (I can't wear yellow gold, but those can look great too, of course.) It wears a little small, but it's vintage, so that goes with the territory. And yes, on a strap! Good luck.

So your next decision 1803 or a quickset model? I love them both but the 1803 seems to have more interesting dial options and plexi of course.

Absolutely! It's a classic. I'd love to add a WG, RG or even PT 1803 to my 18078 one day.

Of all my rolex, my DDs got the most compliment. Nuff said.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |
