Any experience with aftermarket diamond bezel?

Looking to replace the bezel of a DJ31 with an aftermarket diamond bezel.

I'm trying to get some feedback or recommendations
any positive experiences or nightmares?

Any experience with aftermarket diamond bezel?

Bought one for my Wife's DJ and it is very nice BUT the Rolex OEM diamond bezel on president is Better looking. The settings are closer together and diamonds are the best quality.

could you share where you got the aftermarket bezel from? feel free to message me
thank you.

i'm in Los Angeles and have called a few places in downtown with mixed results
I would want to see it first because the quality of the diamonds and the setting could vary widely
but it seems no one stocks a 31mm bezel and would need to be ordered anyway

Wife has a DJ36 with custom, she loves it! It's just a bezel, of course quality of diamonds can vary from retailer to retailer.

Related question -
Does the case need to be opened to change the bezel of a Datejust? Or can you just remove and replace the bezel somehow?

If bezel can be changed without opening the case, then can I safely assume that the waterproofness of the watch will be unaffected by the bezel change?

trying to figure out how big of a procedure a bezel change is for the Datejust

Just do not send it to RSC for any service with an aftermarket bezel.

Can be changed without opening case. Does not affect WPness.

We have a good friend who likes “bling“. Her husband is a Rolex collector and it kills him to see her want to put diamonds on everything.

So the compromise is, he buys the authentic original watch, and then buys an aftermarket bezel with diamonds, and swap it out!
In the future, you can always put the original bezel back in place.

This move does not disturb the integrity of the case. There is no relevance to waterproof status. You’re safe!!

Remember… These are all for enjoyment! Have fun!

We’ve obtained a number of aftermarket items from Daniel. at watchmydiamonds.com. Feel free to use my name. PM me for my full name if you wish.

He does astoundingly good setting work with very nice brilliant-cut diamonds. We found him to be a good communicator and very professional.

Best of luck!
Bob
