My first Breitling - Aerospace EVO Night Mission
It took awhile to realize that this is the perfect travel companion that I have been looking/wishing for....
1. Dive watch look and feel 2. Dual time zones 3. Light and thin 4. Alarm! 5. Grab and go The original military strap looks awesome, but per the service centre lady, the lining material is leather. Could someone share if that's indeed true? |

Congrats! I just bought one yesterday myself. So far, I LOVE the looks. I HATE the fact that it doesn't have a sweep second hand. 20 years in the military and I'm still a stickler for timeliness. So now I have to bring up the seconds / date display and read that, too. It's going back.

If you're talking about the OEM military strap -- no, the backing on the strap is not leather. It is a synthetic material that is waterproof and very comfortable. I have several and love their versatility. |

Yes I am referring to the OEM strap pictured below. I have read somewhere that it is what you described - synthetic material, but only once. Not a lot of information out there thus I called the service centre up and got a "it's leather" response. Really appreciate your insights on the material! Yes it is really comfy, but the corners of the claps is kinda sharp, so I need to be extra careful around kids. |

Well -- now maybe you can educate me!
It appears from your photo that you have a green khaki military strap that is configured to be used with the OEM folding clasp. Up til now, I have only seen that strap available in a buckle/tang version. Did you get it recently? If you could share the model number of the strap, that would be very helpful (it's hard to make out from the photo). Many thanks! |

Very nice breit!
Been looking at one of these for myself lately, I think your pics on the various straps may be the push I need! |

I wore mine today and it's starting to grow on me. Such an iconic Breitling, it's hard to let it go.

Congratulations, I'm wearing mine right now.
It's also my go to travel watch: light, tough, display on Dallas time, always accurate. I actually only have this because it doesn't have a second hand. The ticking would drive me crazy, so this is the only quartz watch for me. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Very nice.
I gave that one a look and while I like it, there was just no place for it in my collection.
