Sell ghost to fund Roo 43mm

Hi.
I have a 42 roo mm grey ghost, had for about 2 years now and really like the watch, i have my name down for a new 43mm after trying it on.

Is it worth keeping both APs ?
Will they be too similar

Many thanks

Do you have pretty large wrist to where you think the 42mm is too small? That's the only way I personally would get rid of the Ghost for one.

I have the 42mm Ghost and Gulf. The Ghost just seems so much more versatile than any of the 43mm options especially if you get the quick strap change system implemented to the Ghost once it becomes available here shortly. I don't think I'll ever sell my Ghost, there are just way too many fun strap options that will always keep it fun and fresh.

Which 43mm did you have your eyes on?

The new 43 are all so nice and each have their own uniqueness. Which one are you eyeing

How can the quick change strap system be used on the 42mm ghost

Might as well wait until you have both side by side for a few weeks. No need to rush the decision right?

I had the Ghost and I loved it, but I sold it this summer in anticipation of getting a new 43mm Offshore.

I finally pulled the trigger on the Taupe smoked dial after some elongated decision making on my end, and I could not be happier. They fit almost exactly the same and while I will always have a love for the Ghost, the Taupe smoked 43mm destroys it. And I am not saying that to justify my decisions. Go check one out and I’m certain you’ll come to the same conclusion.

Unless you are a huge Offshore fan, I see no reason to keep both. Sell the Ghost when the market is strong and you’ll only have to put a little bit on top to get into the Taupe.

Good luck to you…

It is my understanding that they are making a kit that will work on certain previous models (Ghost included) that will allow you to quickly change straps like on the 43mm models. Last I heard was it was supposed to come out in January or February. You will have to buy the kit and take it to your AD to have them swap out the old plots with the new ones that will allow you to achieve this.

Hope that helps and explains it properly. I agree with the other poster that if you can buy the 43 and keep the 42 at least for a little while before deciding that might be the best route.

I had the ghost and the black dial 43mm. Once I got the 43, the ghost never left the safe so I sold it. I like the contrasting colors more on the 43 and it wears similar/better than the 42's. The 43 is slightly bigger but hugs my wrists better.

Like someone else said, if you can keep the ghost and get the 43, then you can have some time to compare the two.
