All Black Bezel insert
Great photo Mav:
I have a 16710 RED/BLACK. I am thinking about getting the bezel insert changed on mine to all black. Your photo adds my feelings that the watch looks professional and less glitzy. I have a couple of questions; IS YOUR BEZEL INSERT A GENUINE ROLEX ARTICLE? MY WATCH IS LESS THAN 1 YEAR OLD, DO YOU THINK I'D BE BETTER OFF GETTING THE SWAP DONE BY AN AUTHORISED ROLEX DEALER OR TRY A DO IT YOURSELF JOB? I've seen instructions on TURF, but I am a little concerned about scratching the case, losing the spring clip and worse still can't get it all back together again! Your opinion would be appreciated. Mav...where did you get the incerts?
I have a GMT Master II with the pepsi bezel, and would like to have the other colors for a different look once in a while.
Thanks, PR |

If you had the older 1675 GMT Master on which the bezel rotates both directions hence no pesky spring to leap out and hid on you, you get a round friction spring which just sets.... :op I just knew there was a reason I like vintage :o) :o)
