Porsche inspired CW Bel Canto

Rumour has it that there is going to be a Porsche themed Bel Canto limited edition watch. I have poked around online and see nothing.

If executed well and tastefully designed, I would be interested. Anyone with any info? Thanks!

Can’t see how such a thing could happen since Porsche has its own design house and issues all of its own watches.

Pre-orders are being taken for the LE Ti reissue updated Chrono

Found it. Tasteful.

You can’t slap the Porsche logo on any product for sure.

They have their own design brand and partnership with Tag.
Is this just a Porsche theme/inspired Bel canto? Anyone save the pic?

Famous copy from a Porsche magazine ad for 993 turbo.

The links seem to work. However, for me this watch is quite disappointing, because I think this "edition" is not a Porsche-themed watch at all.

Well can’t put the Porsche crest on a watch for sure. The writeup in the CW brochure explained the design. It’s not for everyone but either is any watch I guess. The case back is pretty darn cool. The relief on the image is neat.

There was a McLaren Bel Canto that was an orange dial with black hands. I guess that was not very McLaren but the guys story made it work.

Here was another Bel Canto that I never saw when it was in the making stages:

So, yes, this will be the Phoenix However, the story of this watch is special in itself, because the dial will be completely unique. It is not by chance that it takes more than a year to complete. I therefore believe that a McLaren-colored dial is a tribute in itself, but when you have to explain an ordinary "brown" dial, it is not the same thing. But that's just my humble opinion. For those who like this version, I'm sure they'll be happy to own it.

I think it was mentioned somewhere, but I don't remember where or when. However, I remember that I said at that time that nowadays there are more limited edition Bel Cantos on the market, than regular ones.

For me, the design of the back is something that I can't really admire as long as my wrist is not transparent :)

But as I wrote before, whoever loves this will be happy with this! The Bel Canto is a wonderful watch, so if someone likes it with this dial, they will be happy owners of it.

Supposedly the Christopher Ward micro site goes live this week. You should receive info if you expressed interest by filling out the interest Form on the Linktr.ee site. Orders will be placed directly with Christopher Ward. Production quantity for this limited Edition is 30 pieces.

The back plate is makes none senses to me, but I rather like the watch as a whole. In fact, so far this is my preferred Bel Canto iteration. I think the colored hands will make this more legible than some other examples and the overall colorway to be pretty slick.
