Help with this Santos mark please!?

Thinking of buying this 2022 TT Santos W2SA0009 Large from a very trusted seller.

I don't know if I'm tripping but I can't seem to figure out these bullet hole looking things next to the AU750 stamp.

When I go to the current Cartier website and look at their stock photos, I don't see the splotches or the gold stamp. Why?

Can someone explain what I'm missing ?

Hope you can zoom to see the pic.

Husbands has the same. They are the Swiss stamps for 18k gold. Rolex has the same.

I'm guessing they're legit hallmarks, but really I just wanted to reply and say I think the Santos is dynamite in steel and gold

One is a st Benards head. The other might be a set of scales. Can’t recall exactly. You can make them out with a loupe.

Help with this Santos mark please!?

Hallmarks have changed over the years and vary based on the gold content as well. Modern ones would have the St. Bernard as mentioned above, and 750 would have been accompanied by Helvétia. But I can't zoom in enough to tell regards you have.

If you want the watch then trust that it's bezel is 18K YG - or ask seller for a macro.

[edit: just to add that one of the marks could also be Cartier's own mark denoting which factory made it]

Good to know Michelle, thanks!

I just thought it was strange that they were visible on this one, but on randomly absent on some on a few others for sale I was looking at. (including Cartier's website)

Unfortunately it's just a screenshot Eddie, sorry! Not my watch (yet), so I can't take better pics.

I should go down and take a peek at the W2SA0030 grey dial. I've only seen pics. That said, that's a retail plus tax watch being so new. The TRF trusted seller white dial with plenty of warranty left is like $8.5 out the door.

That's 4k towards my 226570 when and if I get the call soon.
