RSC Dallas Service Turnaround

For those who are curious, I just received my Sea-Dweller back from the Dallas Rolex Service Center earlier today. Dallas RSC received my watch on 12/11/20 and quoted me an 11-week turnaround time on 12/17/20. I received a call from RSC on 1/20/21 that my watch was ready. On 1/21/21, FedEx emailed me notification that my watch was being overnighted to my house. A 5-week turnaround time is great, especially considering Rolex closes shop for a week or so around Christmas.

The watch looks great, practically brand new. In addition to a full service, I also had Dallas RSC replace a chipped/scratched sapphire crystal as well as replace a dented/scratched bezel. Couldn't be happier.

That's great to hear! My DJ41 is currently in transit to the Dallas Center. Thanks for the info.

I thought RSC uses USPS registered mail exclusively? Is this no longer the case?

The cost was $750 for the service, $158.40 for the sapphire crystal replacement/gasket, and $40 for the black bezel insert. $65 for S&H via UPS.

Rolex required me to ship my watch to them via USPS but they shipped it back via FedEx.

I submitted my watch to the RSC in Beverly Hills and I was quoted a 6-8 week turnaround time. It’s for an overhaul. Hopefully it’s done sooner. Will keep you all posted God willing.

Did you request for a polishing or did you choose to opt out?

I included the polish as well. And a replace of the crystal. It’s been 4 weeks so far.

My AD sent my BLRO to Dallas last year when it started losing lots of time. Was told 8 weeks, think it came back a week or two early. Only weird thing with warranty work is they didn’t say what they did to fix it but it’s been fine ever since.
