Incoming…first WG

I’ve been thinking over and over last few months about adding a precious metal watch. Typically I’m drawn to yellow gold. I do believe gold watches should be in their True Tone which is yellow. However I dont like the looks and questions that come with owning a loud yellow gold watch. So I reached out to my AD few weeks ago, like 3 weeks max actually, about the white gold sub. This morning I got the call and couldn’t be happier. White gold is absolutely perfect. Under the radar, heft of full gold is superior to stainless steel and those that know, know what this is and those don’t know, well I guess they don’t need to know. Let’s keep it like that. This looks like a keeper for sure.

Cool watch OP!

Mine YG is loud and proud but that's the role I bought it for. White gold is great.

That's my favorite gold Sub. For a full PM on a bracelet, with most watches YG is too flashy for me, the WG sub is perfect (although I don't have any PM watches yet). I'd make an exception for a Day-Date 36 -- for that one, I'd go for YG, preferably vintage.

Good choice. I prefer the WG, it's more under the radar.
