Congrats - love the dial. As an alternative to the bracelet, try a vintage strap

I bought this watch at auction and had two options, black dial or blue dial. Really pleased with with the fact that I went with the blue dial. Only downside to having the watch is setting the date . Took me ten mins just to set the date.

Setting the date manually is one of the nostalgic routines of vintage watches, enjoy it.:)

Thought I would post a pic of me driving with my watch earlier today. By the way, does anyone know where I can purchase a period correct box for this watch apart from fleabay?

Great watch. I love the symbiotic relationship
that one has to undergo with a vintage watch. |

Thanks mate. This is my first vintage piece and definetely not my last and I can see myself wearing this watch on a regular basis. Really impressed with the overall condition and running of the watch itself although bracelet needs to be sent off to MY to bring it back to its former glory.
