Greek members

Do Greek members or sellers have any kind of bad reputation ? I am an old member and a few days ago I applied to be a pledge member (by sending a donation), yet until today my request was ignored.
Not that matters much whether I can sell my watch or not but it seems weird !
I know that Greece is a den for crooks but not everyone is a crook !

I think it has more to do with your pledge membership not clearing. Once your pledge clears I'm sure you're good to go.

I'm Armenian by heritage but the bulk of my family fled to Greece during the genocide. Most reside in Loutraki; with a few in Athens.

I haven't noticed any Anti Greek sentiment here. GreekBum seemed to sell watches just fine when he was more active here

Your first thought is that you are Greek? C’mon.

Seriously

It's more likely that you didn't associate your pledge with your username and Admin doesn't have a clue who pledged.

This^^

Just copy the transaction ID and paste it in your post on the 2023 pledge membership thread. I've been around here since 2015 and it has always taken anything from a few minutes to a couple hours max for the status to be updated.

Sorry, hadn't had my cup of coffee

I've just seen you've done that already and now that I think about it, your username should also be on the PayPal message.
++
In the Paypal screen please click the "special instructions" and insert your username to allow for easier reconciliation and updating of your account.
++
So that's perhaps what went wrong here. I'm sure Steve will take care of it if that's the case

There’s this.

Also, Lol-x is the only one who handles the pledge memberships. It’s possible he’s busy with his full time job and life in general. Sometimes it takes a few days for him to catch up to them.

Nah, that’s a real stretch. People are from all over the world here on TRF and moderators keep a keen eye for inappropriate behavior to others.

If your only reason to become a pledge member is to sell a watch then maybe Ebay is the better choice.

Is there any information provided to the person making a donation that the donation may take 1-3 days to be applied?
