FYI,that is a valid message from the forum admin, Steve 'Lol-x'. If you follow his directions, you will find and area of the forum only available to pledge members. There is an activity going on there that you may participate in, if you so choose. But you need to hurry. There is a limit to the number of people that may pledge in and it is almost full.
