Could I put a 77200 bracelet on a 2009 16570?

Would a 77200 bracelet fit on a 16570 ExII? If not a direct fit, what would have to be done to make it fit? Or is there another solid center link bracelet that should fit the 16570? Just curious as I'm thinking strongly about adding the EXII to my collection and I already have a 39mm Explorer.

I know that the 16520 and the 16570 both have 20mm lugs but I’m not sure if it’ll fit perfectly

One thought I had was to see if it's possible to take the solid endlinks off of the EXII and have them put on the extra 77200 bracelet I have. Wondering if a place like Rolliworks could do that kind of mod?

I can't answer your question with certainty, but as someone who likes to swap bracelets I have some experience in this area. A lot of 1990's Rolex models shared end links. Much more so than today. However, most 2000's era solid links will not work with 1990's (and earlier) Rolex models that used hollow end links. I would be very surprised if the 77200 worked with the 16570.

Could a company like Rolliworks make the modifications to make it work? Perhaps. But it would permanently alter either the case or the bracelet (or both) and would likely be very costly. You could email them but I think this is an idea that's just not going to work out.

I know hollow end links get a bad rap, but when they are new I don't get any rattle. If yours are fitting poorly, for most models from the 1990's you can get replacement end links from Rolex and they are not very expensive. I did just this with my 16200 Datejust. It does not require a full service. I ordered mine through my AD watchmaker and he installed them.

You can swap out the clasp and removable links. Both bracelets use 15.5mm removable links. The solid end link on the 77200 will not work on that case. The spring bar holes wont line up unless you do some major grinding and filing to the end links.
