Going to Zurich in March - Want to pick up a Rolex

Is there any price advantage to buying a Rolex (GMT II Stainless "Batman") is Switzerland over the US?

Any suggestions on how to go about this, or if there is a good place in Zurich to go to buy one?

Thanks in advance.

Slightly cheaper (retail sans VAT is around 8200USD) but unlikely you will be able to find one.

Pointed. Problem is to find one on a official dealer.

I’ve bought a BLNR two years in a row now during my trips to Switzerland. Bought them in Lucerne though.

Rolex SA should consider offering 'European Delivery' like some overseas automobile companies. A USA pre-order/remittance, and then a factory tour followed by a reception at Rolex HQ culminating with an in-house delivery of the customer's new watch personally handled by a Rolex SA representative. A few 'selfies' with a foxy Miss Rolex would also add a nice touch.

Toss in a few Rolex nick-knacks (hats, wallets, key-fobs etc.) and you'll have happy customer + an ongoing TRF thread topic.

I just got back from Zurich and nothing at the local ADs. I didn’t take a trip to Lucerne though...

Good stock, but a terrible customer experience, feels like a supermarket in there...

Their VAT is low but am unaware of USD vs CHF. Beyer store on Bahnhofstrasse is great and can recommend them but unsure if any relevant stock.

That's only if you buy tax free in CH and then refuse to pay your local customs/taxes

My experience of Bucherer Lucerne this summer was that they had no interesting ss stock and they wouldn't let me join the wait list as not a Swiss resident. Also had to jostle my way through the 50 Chinese people in there from a tour
