RSC quote - watch condition concern

Hello all,
My SD43 is at Dallas RSC for regulation. I noted on the quote they sent me that for watch condition they listed that the “disc for the bezel” and the bezel are scratched. I know there are some scratches on the bracelet and case but could not see any on the bezel. Is it possible that it is something that I could not see with my naked eye but they saw under magnification? I know they would need to list everything to protect themselves. Thought?

Thanks

Russell

It's normal and entirely expected.
The bezel assembly is arguably in the most exposed area of the watch.
You already admit there are scratches on the Bracelet, so what's your problem with scratches elsewhere?
Wait till they have finished with it.
There may well be other additional scratches on the watch that you haven't noticed yet.

Besides, assuming you keep it long enough to necessitate having serviced. By them it will have more signs of wear and tear that you can have rectified at the first service and subsequent services as you see fit and as time goes on

They use high power magnification to inspect the watch. Many things they "find" are not visible to the naked eye. If there is a micro scratch on my Sub ceramic insert, and I can't see it then there is no way I'm replacing it!

Naked eye versus magnified photoed for service... So your watch is normal.

I took one of my watches for full service and there was a note about the hands scratched and something with the dial... I called them to inquire about it and ask them to replace both. They (Dallas RSC) said, that it was not necessary at this time. Although, it was noted on the work order, it was only visible via the high magnification loupe used by the tech.

That’s just in case they scratch it.

They told me I had a scratch on the bezel of my Ceramic BLRO. I’ve yet to find it and that was over a year ago.
