Incoming!! Out with the “old”, in with the “new”.

New month new watch!

Flipped my 16600 (and made quite a nice bit of money) to “upgrade” to the 116600. As much as I love the 16600, I missed the upgrades of the latest modes, such as the ceramic bezel, the chromalight lume and especially the glidelock bracelet. The 116600 is the best of both worlds due to its pseudo-5digit look (relatively narrower lugs compared to SubC and GMTC) and the modernity of the contemporary models. It actually wears more comfortable than the 16600 as the heft of the bracelet helps to balance out an otherwise top-heavy watch.

Overall, I’m sad to see the 16600 go but equally happy to welcome the 116600 into my collection

The 5 digit was my very first Rolex and I regret selling it (many years ago).

Having said that, I agree with you about the 6 digit ... it’s a great watch, enjoy it

Best modern Rolex. It's has to be tried to be loved. The substance, the symmetry

It is a beautiful watch, and I love the look reason I bought it twice, sadly it doesn't fit well on my wrists...

Congrat's! I still love seeing them

Congrats, I've had both... numerous times and finally landed with the 16600 as I found a NOS lug holed set a year and a half back. Can't go wrong with either
