waiting time sounds weird
Hi there,
I am actually very new here and reading most of the comments it did sound a little weird to me that lot of people are waiting for so long. I assume I am one of the lucky guys here but I dont know if I would wait for more than a month. anyway,I am a new owner of a submariner no date ( since about a month ago ). last month I went to a Rolex AD and asked them about the sub date and they said they will have new shipment arriving soon and they will inform me. only one day later I received a call from them and they said shipment arrived. I went there to buy the date version, they had the new sea dweller,GMT and also no date. I tried all of them but after I looked to the watch from the side, that cyclops looked little strange to me. I went there to buy a date version but left the AD with the no date. I will not say to anyone that one is better than the other. just try them out and buy the one you like more |

I think the no date Submariner is perfect. If I were looking to get one quintessential Rolex professional model, this would be it. The cyclops is iconic, but the symmetry of the 114060 is more true to the original Submariner.

I wish more subs were available without a date than just the "base" model. If I could get a two-tone nd, I'd probably own one by now.

Thanks all,
Seems Like I was lucky, but it seems also that the first buy will not be last one. Still interested in some other models. |
