Icon11 Code 11.59 Chronograph - still scarce?

Is this hard to get nowadays? I have my heart set on the Code 11.59 chrono and on my first trip to the boutique, the SA made me try on the colors. Loved the blue but he eventually brought out the sunburst purple that's reserved for another client to show to me. Then he eventually agreed to sell me the piece. He said that they like to sell to people who are in love with the watch and know they'll be worn. So I was wondering if the other person was robbed off the opportunity to buy this watch now that it's offered to me? Thank you!

Don't think so. Doubt it was actually reserved for someone else. Feels like a sales tactic to me.

Which chrono? If you mean blue steel chrono, it was “hard” in the sense that all APs were hard last year, but it was never impossible to get a steel chrono as a first piece to my knowledge.for purple chrono, I assume that’s the older gold variant which def should not be difficult to obtain

The demand is small but so is supply. If you ask for one you might be the only person for your boutique requesting one, for steel ceramics time only someone reported that the boutique will only receive 3 this year.

Thank you. Yes it's the pink gold, purple dial - 26393OR. I'm wondering if I should snap up the one being offered to me in a city where I need to pay taxes or I try and queue up in a city that doesn't and save a little. But I do love the watch so I feel like if I don't get this one, it might be a while since I can get it again. So trying to gauge that decision.

Not sure I get the chat OP.
If you like the watch why not buy it? What does scarcity have to do with it?

No it's not "scarce", no it shouldn't be that hard to obtain. On chrono24 it trades at a discount, so no no one did you a favor.

Again, if you're not flipping it and like the watch, then none of your line of questions should matter

What cities don’t have tax?
You could probably find a used one and save some money, but if you love it who cares.
I really like my code. It was my last AP (6th) and my “hardest” to get..

You'd get this within 6 months in any city, resident or not. This is def not a hot watch.

If you are a non-resident of the EU and buy the 26393OR.OO.A002KB.02 within the old continent, you will have the opportunity to get a VAT refund when leaving the EU. Will save you between 15%-20%. Duties may apply, when you import it in your country of origin.

Code 11:59’s are easy to get and something they encourage you to buy to help get offered a more in-demand watch. You can buy most all Codes for about half price or less on the grey / used market. Only exception is the Starwheel which is actually a cool piece.
