Montblanc as a gift sizing question
Hello all.
I want to buy my SO a nice Montblanc pen as a congratulations present for getting her first book published. First let me say I don't know anything about Montblanc pens. I have just been doing some research lately. I'm leaning towards a ballpoint Meisterstück. I believe the 149 will be too big. Can anyone recommend the proper size to get for a lady? She is tall and thin if that matters. |

I purchased my wife the Meisterstück LeGrand Rollerball Pen, which seems to fit her well. I believe it is the 162R.
Also, look at the Montblanc Rollerball M Special Edition Red 117599. They both come in black.

I prefer the Rollerball pens as the ink flows better for me. So many options but the classic resin is always a good place to start.

145 Classique would be my choice in this situation. It is the non-controversial, please everyone size.

Thanks for the replies.
I ordered a Meisterstück gold coated classique ballpoint with her name engraved on it. It fits her hand perfectly and it put a big smile on her face. |

Any regular sized Montblanc as long as it’s a rollerball.
LeGrand way too big for most women’s writing grip….. |

Depends on how big her hands are. Smaller to medium ladies hands and I'd say Meisterstuck Classique. Larger ladies hands the Meisterstuck Le Grand.
149 is too girthy. (Seriously. Stop the giggling in the back row). |
