SD4k or any 126610….
I’m going it buy 2104 SD4K or a never worn 126610. Had an SD4K and it sold it unfortunately. The 126610 is new and the 41mm is great!

SD4K hands down. Classic 40mm size, 20mm lug width for strap changes, proportional lugs, slimmer bracelet/clasp, matte dial, raised crystal, no cyclops, HEV, engraved case back, very short production run, and most importantly, 3135 movement. Only potential downside is that it’s a little thicker than the sub and isn’t going to fit under a cuff as well.

Which do you prefer? If you can't decide, get both.

I like the 126610. The SD4K deserves all the love in the world but prices don’t reflect that. It’s unfortunate. I think in the long run you will apreciate the slimmer profile of the 126610.

Sub Date for me. If an SD, go 5-digit, IMHO.

Does the SD4K have the new bracelet or the older flimsier one?

SD4K all day. You've had it before, so you know why it's special. I just purchased one for the first time. Definitely my favorite sports Rolex thus far.

The sub is and always will be the must have in my opinion. I don't wear my sub as much as some others, but if you don't have one, you need one.

Very cool! I wasn’t aware any SD4Ks came with the polished blade. A few years ago I sent just my watch head to Dallas RSC with the intent of buying a new bracelet to replace mine that had been “lost”. The replacement bracelet came with the blasted inner blade as well.On a side note, replacing a bracelet is an expensive endeavor…

Do you need the chonk of the Seadweller? Why not 116610? Cheaper, all the "charm" of the chunky case and 3135 to boot.

The Submariner for what it is. The SD4K is cool but at the premium that is being charged it is difficult to choose one. The Submariner is very wearable and does not have the same thick case as the SD4K which I always though made it a little out of proportion. If you have the wrist to wear the SD4K then why not look at the SD43. Slightly larger but a better looking dial with red text and a value in the secondary market. I also prefer the ND version of the Submariner as opposed to the date version but to each there own. Pre-owned Submariners in the 116610 range are a value compared to the SD4K. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
