Incoming 126500 - The Journey Continues

I’m not into the hype or one that looks at purchasing pieces I buy to flip for easy profit - I actually buy timepieces to wear and enjoy them!

With that said I’ve been wanting to add a black dial chronograph for quite some time to my collection and just didn’t get enough of the “wow” from the outgoing model to pull the trigger. However, once I saw this gem there was no way I could say no.

Not saying anything bad about the outgoing model and know there’s been plenty of controversy here on the forum over which is better between the 116500 and 126500, but for me I prefer this newest version and found it to be a no brainer - once you have one in-hand and on the wrist you experience the updates that pics / videos are just not able to provide.

Cheers!

Congrats, and agreed on your points! I prefer the newer reference, and I definitely prefer the black over the white. The black on this dial pops more than the previous reference.

Congrats! The small changes on the new range of Daytona’s are definitely an improvement.

Enjoy the new watch.

Great looking watch. Destined to be a long term classic. Feels nice on the wrist. Enjoy.

Congrats OP. How are the subdials on the new reference? Are they more of a matte finish or super reflective like the black 116500?

Looks amazing! Congrats! I much prefer the black dial in the newer reference, and think it’s actually the better looking dial choice vs the panda.
