Icon10 My new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore

Finally! After falling in love with this watch a year ago and ordering from my AD about 1 ½ months ago, it ARRIVED! I am very excited to be part of the Audemars Piguet family. The watch is a Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph model #25721ST. Sadly, I had to part with my Panerai and Rolex Submariner Anniversary to make it a bit more affordable, but I am ecstatic to have it

Agree, the price is a bit high

I totally love the watch though, has such a great presences to it. Plus it has the new in house AP movement which is flawless, so smooth it's unbelievable, can’t even feel it when you wind the watch

Thanks JJ. I think you were the first to welcome me here a few years back when my first watch was a Sub

Honestly the day i can afford to have AP royal oak offshore without it having to my only watch will be a great day. It is undoubtedly one of my favourite timepeices ever and hopefully i will be able to get one sometime in the future.
P.S they were sponsoring the UK masters golf tournament last week

Yeah, I love the watch too, but I like you, would rather have a few more pieces than just one pricey AP. I did sell my Sub LV and PAM 111H to make the purchase easier, but I still do have a Sub Date, SS Daytona, and Breitling Crosswind Special, so I’m not just a one trick pony.

I didn't know that they sponsored the UK Masters. AP sponsors some cool events and throws amazing parties!

Congratulations - with the price increases on Rolex these days, the haute horologie brands are starting to come within comparative reach!

Everyone is increasing I actually had this watch just about purchased back in February, but my wife told me NO So of course I cancel and the prices increases 10% the next week Believe it or not AP had a price adjustment back on September 1st and the price for this watch actually went DOWN $600 bucks

Regardless I am thrilled to have it

I had the Lange long before the ROO. I may get another one someday but one with a strap. The Safari or Navi (Navy).

Why'd you sell it?

I'm not a huge Fan of the Navy, Safari is cool, but I much prefer the SS or Themes that I have

Just a classic watch - sooo cool, and very, very popular now among the hoi paloi. In fact, it's been the watch of choice for the elegantly casual gentleman for many years. Great choice - congratulations!
