Hi Guys,

Does anybody know where to get this bracelet?
Mine is Ref. 1171 but it is all worn out.

Thanks

Hey Mate,

You could try Watchco here in Australia. They are known to stock alot of Omega stuff.

Cheers

Thanks Aaron,

Have checked the site and they did not have the 1450.
I love my 1171 but need something more solid, say more heft and 1450 is a logical progression. just don't like the new bracelets, too blingy for me.

About the only way to pick up a 1450 is via eBay.

Sometimes you will see the bracelet itself for sale but most times it will be attached to a late 1980's 3590.50 Speedy Pro. Several have bought them, replaced the 1450 with an 1171, and resold the watch.

The 1450 is easily spotted since it looks like the 1171 but has "Speedmaster" on the clasp - the 1171 doesn't.

I came by my 1450 when a friend bought an old Speedy Pro (145.012-67) and did not want the bracelet since it was not original to the watch. It cost me $300 back in 2004 but now I've seen them sell for $500 to $800.

Good luck finding one. It's a great bracelet.

It's hard to find older versions..

Otto Frei (ofrei.com) sells quite a variety of authentic Omega bracelets...

Frei has a wide range of bracelets, straps, etc but they do not have the 1450.

It sounds like an obsession to find things that you can't.
As majority of people do not pay attention to the bracelets, information about 1450 is quite rare.

I suppose 1450 fits the grail definition.

Yes, the 1450 does indeed qualify as "grail".

Not only is it a rugged, comfortable bracelet with a vintage look befitting of the Speedy Pro, it has a nice "quick release" feature:

My 1450 is the third from the right in this photo:

And it resides on my 105.012 "Neil" watch:

Wow!

yours is truly a grail by itself.
A 321 1967 with 1450.
I guess the only thing left to find is the Chuck's Grail Watch (Speedmaster Date) itself.
For me the truly Grail is yours.
You are a very lucky man!

It was Chuck who was involved in making my combo possible. My 105.012-65 was listed on eBay but the seller would not open it up so I could see the movement. I was reluctant to bid on it but Chuck looked at the photos and urged me to take a chance: "You might get lucky and pick it up at a good price." As it turned out, the watch was in 90-95% condition and I bought it for <$1300 including shipping:

And it was Chuck who was the other buyer on the 1450 I bought. He already had a 1450 on his 20th Anniversary Apollo XI so he was graciously pleased for me to acquire it.

I guess the only thing left to do is to find Speedy 376.0822 + 1450 to make a perfect Grail!
