Upgrade to Panda. Have to choose what to let go.

Decided to pull the trigger on panda, grey purchase.

Want to get rid of either DJ41 126333 two tone, jubilee, champagne dial or 126613ln two tone submariner.

Also have 126710blnr but this one will stay forever, my favorite piece.

Any input highly appreciated.

I’d get rid of the DJ. Likely easier to reacquire down the road.

My assumption is you will take a pretty big hit selling either so I would just add.

Question if you might reacquire it down the road wouldn't it cost more then than to just keep it now and have it down the road then you would have purchased it once at a lower price just asking?

Of course it’ll cost more. Selling to rebuy always comes at a premium which is why I normally only add.

I’d let go of the sub. I think the sub and gmt are fairly similar looking considering your collection. The DJ offers more diversity.

I have blnr jubilee and considering trading plus cash for white Daytona as my one watch… thoughts on your Daytona compared to blnr?

Mainly wear Apple Watch for rough stuff anyway

I would let go the datejust...I currently have Sub and GMT, and looking to add Daytona in the future....

for a dressy piece, I would add a dress watch instead

I'd get rid of both: DJ41 126333 two tone jubilee champagne dial AND 126613ln two tone submariner, and get that panda

How do you feel about two tone? I’m guessing you started on TT and have possibly moved on. Will you wear them again and love wearing them?

I’m going through a phase of decluttering and am enjoying having less of everything but keeping the things I love and using what I have more. This hasn’t included watches yet but I am thinking about it.

I’d be wondering about moving on both and even leaving room for a third that you’ll love.

Keep the BLNR and get rid of the rest. Great two watch collection.

Another vote for this option. GMT, DJ, and Daytona is a better 3 watch collection IMO.

Got to ask why you consider the so called Daytona panda a upgrade is because of the price of the hype.Speaking for myself on watches like the sub or GMT watches I would consider it a downgrade.

I like two tone watches. They look more impressive for people who are not watch enthusiasts. I get tons of compliments on my sub while nobody ever notices my Batgirl.

However, I probably reached the point when I don’t want to attract any attention with a flashy watch.

Do you ant two sport watches? Then sell the DJ. If you need a dressier piece, sell the Submariner. It will be easier to replace the DJ, should you decide to add it back later. Personally, I’d rather keep the two you have, and buy a Speedy Pro. But That’s just me.

I was very close to it couple days ago travelling back home at Rome airport. Tried the Speedy with leather strap and it felt amazing. Was very tempting.
The tax free also made a price attractive, less than 7k Euro.

My wife said it will be the same as Panerai which I was wearing for couple weeks and then got back to my rolexes. So I did not pull the trigger.

Inclined to agree with the DJ advice. I’d do that I think.
