Planet ocean bezel
Just wondering if anyone has had issues with their planet ocean bezel. I’ve now had to send it back to Omega twice because it’s spinning freely in both directions. I spend a lot of time in the salt water with it but I always soak it in fresh water after use in salt water. I’m very disappointed in a dive watch that can’t be used for diving. I have only had the watch for about two years. Purchased new from from a AD, I’m thinking about going back to Tudor or Rolex, I never had an issue with those brands and saltwater, my sub saw way more saltwater use. I guess the PO uses a very unique spring mechanism that can’t be replaced by a local watch maker, I tried or at least that can’t get the parts from OMEGA.

I wear my PLANET OCEAN in the salt water, somewhat regularly and have not had a problem in the approximately 18 months that I have owned it.

That gives me hope, I really love the watch. At least it’s been fixed under warranty.

My PO did the same and eventually got stuck in place, but this only happened after it returned from its 1st service. I could see the bezel must have been bent during service... Try seeing if the gap between the bezel and case is even while you turn the bezel in a full rotation.
It subsequently got sent back to Swatch 2-3 times before they finally replaced the bezel. Each time they just swapped the clickspring and didn't seem to bother with a simple function test. I hope you get this sorted out, although multiple visits seems to be common around here. |

2.5 years with my orange 43.5 creamsicle. Almost daily chlorine swimming pool, and perhaps 40 ocean swims, dives. No issues.

Also use the bezel on average twice a day for two years to time meals for my dog. No issues with bezel.
