How does this DJ 1600 dial look? Original?

is this original? sorry, this is the best pic i have.

i hoping this pic will be easier to see the intricacies of the dial. not crystal clear though. what do you guys think?

I think it's good, but those pics aren't sharp enough for absolute certainty.

Looks good to me. I had one as such new in 1983. It was the first series with polished bezel, as until then the SS model had engine turned bezels. If it is a fast date change, it has the high beat movement. I had changed the Oyster to a JB and enjoyed it a lot. Sorr I sold it.

the 1600 had a smooth bezel. the 16000, which i believe you are referring to, did also.

I do not remember. I only remeber that had the quick change and the "fast" movement, I purchased it in Sep 1983. What model was it ?

Thanks, I will see the guy I sold it to, in summer. Then its the time we meet during our vacations. I sold the DJ for getting a 300m Sub with date and saphire.
