I voted DJ.

If I want a professional reference I want it to look the part and be a bit more on the tool watch spectrum. To me, the YM is a bit too dressy looking to play the part.

I get it, it is not everyone's cup of tea BUT the YM with blue dial is criminally underrated imho. Therefore would def say YM is better looking. It is unique piece that stands out in a world full of DJ41 and Subs.

Purely personal preference

I agree with this. Every time I see one at the AD I’m impressed.

Another day another jwalker497 poll!

I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I’m curious, what’s your motive for all these this vs that polls?

DJs are really nice, but YMs are out of this world in person.

Both great watches for sure. I’d Defo’s go YM as it probably covers off both casual & occasion better. And also because it’s bloody gorgeous IRL!!

DJ for me. I think the blue dial looks better with the DJ’s bezel compared to the YM’s bezel (which I think looks better with the grey dial).

They YM is crazy underrated. I've been wanting one for a long time!

I'm almost to the point where my DJ is on the chopping block to make room for the YM.

YM for me but I prefer the Rhodium dial even though blue is my color. Just love the pop of baby blue on the Rhodium

Not annoyed as such, just curious.

There are a lot of people spending a lot of time trying to "help" you in all these threads, giving you great opinions and insight, I tried, until I noticed the pattern. You rarely respond to anyone, and surely aren't really considering such diverse choices.

So not sure that's entirely "fair" on everyone, hence me questioning your, lets be charitable, unusual behavior.

Do you work for a secret opinion canvasing company or you are the most lost, disillusioned watch collector on the planet, confession time?

Maybe its not a popular opinion, but my thought is that I don't mind posts like this even if OP is not serious about them because it creates some engagement and discussion among members. I'm not a prolific poster, but I like perusing and seeing people's thoughts. For example, I thought DJ would be a runaway winner in this thread, but so far its 50/50.

I voted DJ.

If I were to get a YM I'd opt for the rhodium dial.

The YM is a sports watch and is part of the prefessional line, albeit with a dressy touch. To me, it's a more interesting and versatile piece. The DJ is a nice watch, but has that grandad vibe about it, to me at least. I can wear my YM everywhere. I would only wear a DJ at the office.
